Mostly Nonsense.
Occasionally Brilliant.

We’re just brothers who decided to hit record on the kind of conversations most people never get to hear—unscripted, uncensored, and usually off the rails. We don’t have a niche, and we’re not trying to be experts. We’re just showing up, talking about life, work, parenting, side hustles, pop culture, and whatever rabbit hole we stumble into next.

At its core, this podcast is about connection—the kind that happens when the mics are on but the filters are off. Whether you’re here to laugh, learn, or just feel like you’re at the table with us, you’re in the right place. New episodes drop every two weeks (most of the time). Come hang out.

Jeremy

The Nostalgic Chicken Whisperer

Jeremy, the oldest Avant brother and definitely the Type A personality in the group, is a man of many talents—or at least many hobbies. When he’s not crunching numbers in his office job, he’s dabbling in homesteading, raising chickens, or diving into the “hobby of the week.” His wife Lesley, son Brock, and the best dog Boone are all just along for the ride. Oh, and we can’t forget their three cats. Jeremy’s enthusiasm for nostalgia led him to convince his brothers to join him on this podcasting journey—to relive the good old days and make some new memories.

Josh

The Tech-Savvy Problem Solver

Josh, the second oldest brother and the laid back one, is a former Marine with a colorful past—crayons are his favorite snack. When he’s not troubleshooting computers and networks, he’s wasting a dollar in a claw machine, mowing the yard while listening to an audiobook, or sipping on craft beer. His family, including wife Randi and kids Austin, Cade, and Mia, keep him grounded, while Rocky the dog barks non-stop, like an old man protecting his yard.

Jason

The Auction-Hunting Overachiever

Jason is the third brother—the one who says all the inside thoughts out loud and always keeps things interesting. He’s often late to family gatherings, but when he shows up, he usually has a good story to tell—like the time he bought a school bus at an auction. Jason’s hobbies include making unexpected purchases and working overtime to pay for them. His wife Meghan and their four kids—Braydon, Bryson, Ayla, and Maggie—are used to his antics, but they still wonder what he’ll bring home next.

Jonathan

The Surprisingly Mature Youngest

Jonathan might be the baby brother, but don’t let that fool you—he’s likely the most responsible one of the bunch. His wife Hannah is his partner in all things, supporting him as he balances family life and work. Between raising two toddlers (Nathan and Eleanor) with another baby girl on the way and working alongside Jeremy at their office job, Jonathan somehow finds time to keep everyone else in line. His hobbies include parenting littles (because who has time for anything else?), the occasional date night, and reminding his brothers that maturity isn’t an age—it’s a lifestyle.
